Emergency Call for Retirement Villages

Emergency call for retirement villages and independent living units across Melbourne and Victoria, village-wide and without recabling. A pendant the resident will wear, a pull-cord in the ensuite and a call point in the living area, all on long-range radio to a hub on site. Every pendant is supervised, so a flat battery shows up before it is needed. For residents who will not wear a pendant, our contactless radar sensor raises the call on its own when they fall or leave the bed and do not return.

The call is a real phone call with the unit number to the village manager by day, to on-call staff or a nominated family member after hours, and to a monitoring centre overnight, escalating if nobody answers. Every call is logged: time raised, who was rung, time cleared. Fixed call points cover the community centre, pool, gym and grounds, with staff duress for the office and reception. The same hub runs a full nurse call in a serviced-apartment wing or a co-located aged care home, or adds reporting alongside an existing Sedco or JCT system.

Ageing pendant systems can be taken over and put on a testing schedule, or replaced a court at a time with no cabling and the old system live until each unit is cut over.
